Mini Elite is an inviting, exciting and creative program designed for children aged 2-5. This is an opportunity for every little one to explore the magic of movement and music in a safe and welcoming environment. Our range of Mini Elite classes will teach each student basic dance movements, musicality, co-ordination and most importantly confidence. Classes offer a range of dance styles including Ballet, Jazz, Hiphop and Tap. The students will have the opportunity to showcase their development at various Elite Elevation concerts, performances and showcases throughout the year.

WHAT DO CLASSES INVOLVE?
MINI BALLET
Our Mini Ballet class is a 30-minute creative journey where children are guided through exercises, activities and games derived from basic ballet teachings. Children will be guided through a calming warm up and stretch session that will flow into basic ballet exercises. Ballet is a discipline and must be taught correctly. To lead our mini ballerinas in the right direction for further growth in the style, exercises will be taught in a way that allows each student to learn the correct terminology, positions and movement in a way that is fun and engaging. Throughout the lesson, the use of equipment such as fairy wings, rainbow ribbons, bubbles and feathers will allow the mini ballerinas to explore their imagination.

MINI MOVERS
Our Mini Movers classes are structured to include elements of Jazz, Hip hop and Tap and will run for 45 minutes. Classes are programmed in a way that all mini movers can explore their love for dance and music while developing basic movement skills, musicality, coordination, and dance terminology. Our Mini Movers will begin each class with an upbeat warm up, followed by a light stretch. The children will then be guided through their Jazz and Hip hop style, exercises and dance pieces. Props such as pom poms and rainbow ribbons may be used during this time to keep children engaged, explore their imagination and develop their coordination even further. This section of the class will take up the first 20 to 25 minutes of the lesson. It will then be time for the Mini Movers to pop on their tap shoes and begin developing their tap skills.
To finish out the class children will sit down with their teacher and participate in some musical instrument activities and/ or a group game.
WHAT TO WEAR?
ALL MINI ELITE UNIFORMS CAN BE PURCHASED FROM STUDIO RECEPTION.
FOR THE GIRLS- Girls are to be dressed in the white cap sleeve leotard with attached skirt, theatrical pink/ ballet pink stockings and canvas split sole ballet shoes for ballet and black jazz and tap shoes for the Mini Movers class.
Children are welcome to wear a WHITE long sleeve wrap in colder months.
Hair is to be tied in a slick bun or slick ponytail.

FOR THE BOYS- Boys are to be dressed in black active shorts a white boy’s T-shirt, ballet socks and white canvas split sole ballet shoes for Mini Ballet and white crew socks with both black jazz and tap shoes for the Mini Movers class.
Boys are welcome to wear the black long sleeve in colder months.
Hair is to be tidy.
WHAT IS THE COST?
THERE IS AN ANNUAL REGISTRATION FEE OF $25.00 PER STUDENT
CLASS FEES
1x Mini Ballet class a week= $12.50/ Per term= $125.00
1x Mini Movers class a week= $14.00/ Per term= $140.00
2x classes a week= $25.00/ Per term= $250.00
UNIFORM COST
White cap sleeve, skirted leotard =$50.00
White Boys T-shirt= $40.00
CONCERT FEE
Mid-year concert fee= $75.00
End of year concert fee= $75.00
This amount is to be paid at the end of term 1 and term 3
COSTUME HIRE FEE
Costume hire fee annually per class= $60.00
